Restaurant Merimakasiini belongs to the same chain with Pihatonttu, White Lady and Piccolo Mondo and all pages are facilitated by CRE8. Merimakasiini's wanted that the projects graphics should be designed in accordance with a sea and archipelago theme. Further more the functionality should be extremely high and a personal profile maintained. Another pre-request was that the page could be edit and updated without technical or functional skills.
CRE8 continued defining objectives and defined measurability, extendibility, search engine optimisation and banner add possibility as parts of the process. Besides these a system for tracking and improving search hits and visibility in search engines was introduced.
CRE8 started the project by photographing the venue focusing especially on the old artefacts and ornaments that have accumulated into the surroundings over the years, without forgetting the food portions of course. The food and vine lists where designed to be easily readable and a electronic reservation system with press to respond option was introduced.
